(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) On Saturday September 7, 2013 at approximately 12:13am Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducted a RIDE Program on Wellington County Road 30 near Wellington County Road 39, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A 2005 Chevrolet approached the RIDE then turned away before entering. The motor vehicle was stopped and during the investigation, suspected marihuana was turned over to police by the driver.
Drew TUNNEY age 22 of Guelph is charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 11, 2013 to answer to the charge.
