(GODERICH, ON) Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 40 year old male with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. Shortly before 11:00 p.m. on September 6, 2013 a grey Hyundai entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere checkpoint that was set up at the intersection of Maple and Cambridge Streets.
Upon speaking with the driver officers noted he had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was administered which resulted in a fail. The driver was arrested and transported to the Huron OPP Detachment where he provided two samples of his breath; both were above the legal limit.
Robert MCGRAW, 40, from Goderich has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on October 7, 2013. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
