(ARMOUR TWP) Police along with East Parry Sound Emergency Medical Service and the Burk’s Falls and District Fire Department attended Chetwynd Road, Armour Township at the solar farm after a structure on site caught fire.
At approximately 11:45a.m on Wednesday September 4, 2013 workers from the solar farm were attempting to fix a problem they encountered when a fire started in an electrical cabinet. The worker attempted to extinguish the fire but was unsuccessful and the Burk’s Falls Fire department was called. One of the workers suffered minor smoke inhalation and was treated by paramedics.
The investigation was turned over to the Ministry of Labour by police.
