(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) On Monday September 9, 2013, at approximately 9:02 pm, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer Derek Szeto was conducting moving radar on Wellington County Road 124, north of Wellington County Road 123, Town of Erin.
At this time and location, a 2011 Ford was travelling well above the posted speed limit. Police clocked the vehicle on radar at 134 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
Kenrick CAMERON age 47 of East Garafraxa Township has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on November 20, 2013 to answer to the charge.
