(North Kawartha Twp., ON) – On Friday September 8, officers from Peterborough County OPP received a report of a Break and Enter to a business on 28 Highway.
Officers upon attending the Uncle George’s Restaurant were informed by the owner that unknown personas had gained entry to the business through the front door. Once inside the business the suspect(s) made their way through the business and stole a quantity of cash from an office that was adjacent to the business. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim reports approximately $4500 in cash being stolen from the business.
Members of the OPP Property Crime Unit have been called to investigate the incident.
