(Rockland, ON) ON September 14, 2013, OPP Constable Joe Barbe was on patrol on Giroux Street in Rockland when he noticed a small e-bike turn onto St-Laurent Street. The officer noticed that the small bike was weaving from side to side on roadway. The officer stopped the bike and spoke to the driver. At that time he noticed a smell of alcohol. The driver provided a breath sample into the Roadside Screening Device. The driver registered an “F†for fail. He was transported to Rockland OPP office where he supplied breath samples in the Intoxilyzer. The test results exceeded the legal limit.
Joshua EPPS, 31 years old of Rockland will have to appear in L’Orignal court on October 2, 2013 to answer to the following charges:
CC 253(1) (b) Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle
