(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) -During the afternoon hours of September 15, 2013, a horse being used by the OPP at a community relations display during the Fall Fair became startled and tried to quickly leave the area.
The animal, which was being ridden by an OPP officer at the time, came into contact with and knocked over three event attendees. The three individuals were subsequently transported to the hospital for assessment and treatment for minor injuries. They were all released later that same day and the officer was not injured.
The incident is still under investigation.
