(CALEDON, ON) On Friday, September 6, 2013 at 10:05 am, an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement in the area of Highway 410 and Valleywood Boulevard. The officer observed a Lincoln MKS travelling northbound on Highway 410 at a high rate of speed and determined that the driver was operating the vehicle at 149 km/hr. in an 80 km/hr. zone.
As a result of the traffic stop, Duane S. STOCKLEY, 43, of Sault Ste-Marie was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days as a result of the stunt driving charge.
The driver is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Caledon on October 28, 2013.
