(RED LAKE, ON) On Thursday September 12th at approximately 9:00 a.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a missing male who fell out of a boat while duck hunting on the English River near Ear Falls, Ontario.
Two males were out on the English River duck hunting in a boat on Wednesday evening when both males lost balance and fell into the water. One of the males was able to make it to shore and took shelter in the bush for the night. The male was able to flag down a group of fishermen and subsequently notified the Ear Falls OPP.
After an extensive search of the English River waterway by community members and the OPP, Tyler Mills, age 22 of Ear Falls, Ontario was located this morning deceased. A post mortem has been ordered for tomorrow at the Lake of the Woods Hospital in Kenora, Ontario.
