(Ottawa, ON) The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a collision that occurred on September 19, 2013.
At approximately 5:25 am, a tractor trailer drove off Highway 417 eastbound at the Eagleson exit. The vehicle struck the median which caused significant damage to the truck and trailer.
The driver, 47 year old Lokmane BENSALAH of Scarborough is charged with careless driving.
Highway 417 eastbound is reduced to one lane between Castlefrank Road and Eagleson Road for cleanup. Motorists are advised to expect delays.
