(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment was contacted by a concerned homeowner at a Silver Lake Drive, Port Dover, Norfolk County, ON address.
On Friday, September 20, 2013, at approximately 4:50 a.m., a homeowner contacted police after noticing a suspicious male standing on the front porch of their residence.
Through investigation it was determined that a 19 year old male who was heavily intoxicated entered the front porch believing that he was at his friends residence. The male was subsequently removed by police.
Police are reminding all home owners to ensure that all doors and windows are secured in order to prevent anyone from gaining access to your residence.
