(Lansdowne,ON) On the 17TH of September 2013 Ontario Provincial Police in Leeds and 1000 Island Township received a call regarding a break in at a home on Eden Grove Rd. west of the village of Lansdowne, ON. Officers attended and learned that the home had been entered sometime in the afternoon of the 16th of September 2013. Entry to the home had been gained through a back door.
Several items including a camera, radio and cellphone were taken from the home.
Then on the 18th of September 2013 at around 3:00 p.m. O.P.P. were called to a break in to a home on Fairfax Rd., north of the village of Lansdowne, ON.
Culprits were able to gain access to the home by forcing entry on the front door. Once inside culprits stole several electronic devices including a laptop.
These break-ins are under investigation.
The O.P.P is asking the public to report any suspicious persons, vehicles or activity to their local police department.
