(HOWICK, ON) – A Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint located at the intersection of Perth Road 178 and Gorrie Line proved to be a good location. Just before 10:00 p.m. on September 21, 2013 a GMC Safari mini-van entered the checkpoint. Upon speaking with the female driver officers noticed she had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed which resulted in a warn range suspension.
The 53 year old driver from Howick was issued a 3 day driver’s licence suspension.
