(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) -On Wednesday September 25, 2013 at approximately 9:56pm, officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were patrolling Highway 6 near Clair Road in the City of Guelph. Officers investigated the driver of a 1996 Toyota Corolla and upon speaking with the driver; police discovered that he had been drinking alcohol. He was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
Brian ROMBACH age 35 of Fergus has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on October 25, 2013 to answer to the charge.
His driver’s licence was also suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle has been impounded for a period of 7 days.
