(Douro Dummer Township, ON) – On Thursday September 26, at approximately 12:20 a.m. officers from Peterborough County OPP conducted a traffic stop on County Road 29 of a suspected impaired driver.
Officers patrolling the area encountered a Jeep traveling north on County Road 29 at an unusually slow rate of speed. Officers conducted a traffic stop and investigated the driver.
As a result of the investigation 66 year old Robert HAMILTON of Selwyn Township has been arrested and charged with Impaired Operation and Having Over 80mgs of Alcohol in his Blood.
HAMILTON is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on November 7, 2013 to answer to the charges.
