The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman for failing to comply with her release conditions.
On September 9, 2013, the woman was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that she was to notify the CKPS of any change in address. Another condition was to obey a curfew of 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily.
Last night around 9:30 p.m. officers attended the area of John Street East in Blenheim in regards to a woman causing a disturbance. Through investigation, officers learned that the woman failed to notify police regarding her address and that she was out past her curfew.
The 31-year-old woman was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
