ROBBERY

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a robbery at a Kent Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Sunday, September 29, 2013 at approximately 2:00 a.m., a female was walking through the parking lot located behind Rookie’s Pub in downtown Simcoe.

An unknown male approached a female and removed a purse that the she was carrying. The male then fled on foot and was last seen running through the parking lot.

The male is being described as a white male, tall, slim build, dark coloured hair, facial hair consisting of a beard and moustache. He was wearing a black hat, black long sleeved shirt with white lettering, blue jeans and black running shoes.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
