(Peterborough, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit have charged a Peterborough man following a three month on-line child pornography investigation.
On October 1, 2013 police from the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service and the Durham Regional Police Service executed a search warrant at a Peterborough residence. As a result of this investigation, six computers and other items pertinent to the investigation were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
Justin HACKNEY, age 19 years, of Peterborough Ontario is charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Make Available Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography.
The accused is scheduled to attend a Bail Hearing today, October 1, 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario.
The investigation is continuing.
