(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday September 26, 2010, shortly before 1:30 a.m., Perth County OPP officers stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 23 north of Atwood and gave the driver a roadside test. The driver was subsequently arrested and transported to the Stratford Police Station where he provided breath samples that resulted in readings over .80 mgs. on the Intoxilyzer.
David Irwin (45) of Elmira was charged with Exceeding 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content while operating a motor vehicle. He is to appear in criminal court at the Elma Memorial community Centre on November 10th 2010 to answer to this charge. He was also served a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
