On October 3, 2013 at 8:47 a.m., the Guelph Police attended to Willow Road and Imperial Road for the report of a cyclist being struck by a motor vehicle. Investigation alleges that a van was turning when it struck the cyclist who was crossing the road. The cyclist received minor injuries and the driver of the van was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with turn not in safety.
