As many of you are aware, our North Huron councillors care
very little about the safety of our Community’s children.
Council sits idle, fully congnizant of the safety issues our
children face simply getting to and from school. Pleas to get
our sidewalks clear have been met with laughter and zero concern for
our children’s safety. Simply put, council neglects our
children’s safety, just as they neglect our infrastructure.
It has been said it would take a tragedy before council would take
action, and start doing the job we pay them to do. If a child
was killed because he/she was forced to walk on the road, due to
blocked sidewalks, there would then be enough of a public outcry to
force council to act out of shame.
