(CULROSS TWP, ON) – On October 2, 2010 at 7:28 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a call to attend a deer/vehicle collision along Concession 8 in Culross Township. The driver wasn’t injured, but the vehicle was damaged enough to require a tow from the scene. The South Bruce OPP is sending a reminder to motorists that deer become more active in the spring and fall. Reducing vehicle speed and scanning for hazards as you drive will help to reduce the chances of a collision. Wearing you seatbelt when you drive will help protect vehicle occupants if you do become involved in a crash.
