(NAPANEE, ON) On October 7th 2013, at 11:04 p.m. an officer with the Napanee OPP, conducting speed enforcement on Highway 401, stopped a
black Ford Focus for the offence of speeding.
As a result of speaking with the driver the officer issued an alcohol roadside screening device test. The driver was arrested and taken to Napanee OPP detachment for further breath tests.
Charged with over 80 mgs is 36 year-old Shawn BALDWIN of Loyalist Township.
BALDWIN was issued a 90 day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Napanee on August 13th.
