(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON)- On the 10th of October 2013, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Drug Enforcement Unit and Nottawasaga Detachment Street Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a New Tecumseth address.
As a result, police located a marihuana production and processing operation. The residence and property was used for the growing, drying and packaging of marihuana.
Subsequent to the search police seized over 10 pounds of dried marihuana, 55 grams of hashish, 25 marihuana plants and numerous codeine pills and other prescription drugs. Police also seized three firearms and $340.00 in cash.
Charged with numerous drug related offences are 32 year old Troy CAMPLONG, and 23 year old Kirsten GABOURIE, both residences of the Town of New Tecumseth.
