(South Glengarry) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry detachment would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying a vessel that was found floating in the St. Lawrence river last Monday evening.
After a combined effort of numerous agencies, the occupants of said vessel have been located by police and are in good health.
The OPP would like to remind boaters to ensure they leave shore with all their safety equipment in proper working order and know where their equipment is as it may be needed at any given moment in an emergency.
