(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged two youths with thefts from vehicles in the Orillia area.
In the early morning hours of October 12, 2013, the Orillia OPP received a complaint of two suspicious males going through cars in the area of Martin Drive in Orillia. With a description from the complainant two male youths were located, arrested, and property has been recovered valued at approximately $650.
If you live in the Martin Drive area and believe that you may have had property stolen please contact the Orillia OPP.
The Orillia OPP would like to remind the public to do their part to decrease the opportunity for thieves that target vehicles.
Be sure to secure your vehicles before leaving them unattended. Be sure your windows are closed, all valuables are out of sight, keys are removed and your doors are locked.
Police are asking that if you see someone suspicious loitering in or around parked vehicles to please call the OPP.
