(LAMBTON, ON) Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has on October 17, 2013 completed the investigation into the found human maxilla bone, from a call originating in Lambton Shores.
Information gathered from forensic anthropology, has satisfied the OPP that the bones were found to be ancient, and of cultural and historic interest.
Now with the involvement of the Registrar of Cemeteries the OPP has concluded their part of the investigation.
There is no further OPP information.

HUMAN BONE LOCATED IN LAMBTON SHORES: OPP INVESTIGATING
(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a call in reference to a found human bone. On October 16, 2013 in the mid-afternoon the call came in from a commercial business.
The OPP, no longer on scene, along with the coroner, are early into the investigation, however more information is expected.
