(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment and the IODE (Canadians Women’s Charitable Organization) have teamed up and want to remind everyone about the Child Identification Clinic being held at Pumpkin Fest this weekend.
On Saturday October 19, 2013 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, October 20, 2013 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., members of the OPP will be on scene assisting IODE with a child identification clinic.
The clinic will be held at the Waterford Arena located at 32 Church Street East, Waterford, Ontario, and everyone is welcome to bring by children of all ages for an Identification Record.
This Identification Record consists of a photo, fingerprints, height weight and age. It also contains a section dealing with medical conditions frequented locations and various other information that will assist the police should your family member ever go missing.
The OPP want to remind all visitors and Norfolk County residents attending Pumpkin Fest that safety is everyone’s responsibility. We want everyone attending with friends and family to have a safe and memorable time.
