Male Arrested For Breach, Stolen Property

On the 20th of October 2013, Police attended a residence in the cities north east end regarding the whereabouts of a male who was currently wanted by the Barrie Police Service regarding 9 separate offences.

The male was currently out on a recognizance regarding theft and possession charges. Conditions imposed as a result of the charges was that he was to abide by a curfew between the hours of 10pm and 6am.

It was alleged that the male had recently stolen his brothers wallet and mothers debit card and went on a partying binge with his friends as he showed no regard for his court imposed conditions.

The male was located and subsequently arrested for four counts of breaching his recognizance, four counts of theft and one count of failing to comply with his youth probation.

Police added an additional charge of possession of stolen property as the male was found to be in possession of his brothers stolen wallet at the time of arrest.
