UPDATE: SUSPICIOUS WOMAN ARRESTED

(Prince Edward County, ON)—The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)—Prince Edward County officers began investigating reports of a suspicious person dating back to September 11, 2013. A woman accompanied by a young child attended residences in the town of Picton asking residents to use the telephone or washroom. In one incident where the woman was permitted entry a theft did occur.

On October 23, 2013 Prince Edward County OPP charged 29-year old female Sarah WAYWELL of Picton with Theft Under $5000.00 contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was released on a promise to appear and undertaking with a court date of November 20, 2013 in Picton.
