At 1940hrs on Saturday 26th October Barrie police stopped a vehicle in the area of Blake St and Johnston St.
The 49 year old male driver was arrested and subsequently charged with impaired care and control together with drive Over 80mgs. Subsequent investigations located an unlawfully held shotgun together with brass knuckles which lead to weapons charges also being laid.
The male was released with a future court date.
