(KENORA, ON) – On Sunday, October 27 at approximately 3:30 am, 2013 members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on First St in Kenora. The investigation led police to determine the driver had been drinking. The driver failed the road side test and was arrested and returned to detachment for tests. As a result of this investigation, 27 year old Jhanick KYLE of Kenora has been charged with Impaired Driving.
Later in the morning, shortly after 6:00 am, OPP stopped another vehicle near Heenan Place in the City of Kenora. The driver had been drinking and the driver failed the roadside test. He was arrested and returned for further tests. As a result of the investigation, 40 year old Jeffery KEJICK of Vermilion Bay has been charged with Impaired Driving.
Both men are to appear in Kenora Court on November 28, 2013 to answer to the charges.
