(KENORA, ON) – Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) want to remind residents to be aware of fraudsters selling products door to door. Many groups are fundraising this time of year and it is not unusual for people to attend residences selling products or looking for funding.
The OPP remind people to always ask for proper accreditation from someone going door to door and if in doubt contact the alleged organization. A legitimate organization will have no problems answering questions for a potential customer.
