Barrie Police were called to a Bayfield St home for a report of a domestic assault.
A 32 year old female reports her boyfriend became upset over a bottle of beer he had misplaced and an arguement ensued.
The 34 year old male allegedly assaulted the female causing minor injuries.
Police arrested the male for domestic assault and he was transported to the Barrie Police Service for a bail hearing.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this occurrence.
