On November 1, 2013 at 5:33 pm Barrie officers attended a north end residence regarding a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers were advised by the victim that her 38 year old husband arrived home after a night of drinking with the boys. The couple became involved in an argument.
He subsequently grabbed his wife and placed her in a headlock, she was able to break free and contact the police.
Officers arrested the male for domestic assault, he was transferred to the Barrie Police Service and held for a bail hearing.
