The Barrie Police Criminal Investigations Division is currently investigating the report of a sexual assault that occurred in the vicinity of Bayfield and Collier Streets at approximately 130am, after the time change, Sunday morning.
The 21 year old female victim was walking in the area when approached by an unknown male suspect and assaulted. The victim was assisted by a passer-by who helped her home.
The victim was not physically injured in the incident and has provided a description of the suspect to investigators.
The suspect is described as a white male, 20-24 years old, approximately 5â€Â6-5â€Â8, slim build, light brown hair, clean shaven.
