(WALPOLE ISLAND, ON) On November 2, 2013, around 8:00 a.m. members of the Walpole Island Police Service with the assistance of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a Provincial Offences Search Warrant in the 500 block of Creek Road South.
The primary focus of the search warrant was for offences under the Liquor Licence Act pertaining to the illegal selling of liquor and keeping liquor for sale. The approximate street value of the seized alcohol is $388 and cash seized was just over $2,500.
A 65 year old male from Walpole Island and a 64 year old female from Walpole Island will face charges of Unlawfully Sell Liquor and Unlawfully Keep Liquor for Sale.
