(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) -A vehicle stop recently conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has resulted in a local female being charged with alcohol related offences.
On November 3, 2013 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP were patrolling on Northline Road when they observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner. The officers subsequently stopped the vehicle and determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of the investigation Jacqueline GROZELLE, 49 years of age, of Burnt River, was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on November 28, 2013.
