(Municipality of West Perth, ON) On Wednesday November 03, 2010 shortly after midnight a Perth County OPP officer on patrol on Ontario Rd. in Mitchell conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the stopped car was found to be in violation of release conditions that were put in place as a result of an earlier arrest. A search by the officer also revealed that the driver was in possession of a substance suspected to be Crystal Meth.
Christina Bailey (36) from Stratford has been charged with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking before an officer in charge and with one count of possession of a schedule 1 drug – Methamphetamine. She currently remains in custody and is awaiting a bail hearing in Stratford Court on Wednesday November 03, 2010.
