(ODESSA, ON)- On Monday, November 4th, at 7:35 pm officers with the Loyalist Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were notified of an incident that occurred on Hwy 401 eastbound at the Westbrook Road overpass.
A 50 year-old Toronto man operating a Ford Edge was shocked and startled when an unknown object smashed completely through his windshield.
Officers attended the scene and observed that the driver’s side of the windshield had been completely pushed through to the interior. The driver and entire interior were covered in broken glass and pieces of a pumpkin.
The driver suffered minor cuts to his forehead and hands.
Police are asking for anyone who may have witnesses any suspicious person(s) on the Westbrook Road overpass or in that area last night to contact the Loyalist OPP, Kingston Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or anonymously online at tipsubmit.com
