OPP INVESTIGATING MAILBOX MISCHIEFS

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating acts of mischief throughout Norfolk County at Windham Road 14, Woodley Road, Port Ryerse Road, Gilbert Road and Front Road addresses, Norfolk County, Ontario.

On Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the early morning hours, unknown suspects attended various addresses located in Norfolk County and damaged approximately 45 mailboxes located on the roadways.

A vehicle was observed by an alert citizen leaving the area of Windham Road 14 at a slow rate of speed and is described as an older Mazda motor vehicle, dark in colour, with a load muffler.

The OPP want to remind all residents that if they see anything suspicious to please contact the police immediately. If anyone is found committing acts of mischief, appropriate charges will be laid.
