(North Glengarry) – On November 14, 2014, the winners chosen from this year’s “Wear It To Win†helmet safety program were presented with their awards.
Korine Décoste (8) of Alexandria received a new bicycle, courtesy of the Alexandria Home Hardware and Kyanne Leroux (10) of North Glengarry Township received a skateboard, courtesy of Raage Skateshop. Both girls were spotted by police wearing helmets during the summer. They were given positive tickets, redeemable for an ice cream at the Alexandria Dairy Queen. Their names were chosen from ballots turned in by all who were stopped and rewarded.
