(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – A 63 year old male driver has been arrested and charged following a traffic stop on Elginfield Road near Centre Road.
At approximately 7:18 p.m. on November 18, 2014, Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a grey Ford pickup truck travelling westbound on Elginfield Road. A traffic stop was initiated, and it was discovered the driver had been drinking alcohol.
The driver was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing, that revealed he had consumed more than the legal limit of alcohol.
Rudy VAN-HOOYDONK, from North Middlesex, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released by way of a Promise to Appear and will be answering to the charges in a London court on December 18, 2014.
