(ESSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Wednesday the 19th of November 2014, at 9:48 am an officer from the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol in the area of Highway 89 and the 9th Line of Essa Township when a 2009 black BMW model X5 was observed to be travelling westbound at a high rate of speed.
The officer determined that the motor vehicle was travelling 132 km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone.
The driver was stopped and as a result of the investigation, a female driver from Bradford was charged with Stunt Driving. Her licence was immediately suspended for seven days and her motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
