(Guelph TWP., ON) – On November 23, 2014 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a report of a two vehicle collision on County Road 124 between Hillside Drive and Kaine Hill Rd, Guelph Twp.
Officers responded along with the Guelph Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington EMS.
Investigation revealed that a vehicle travelling eastbound on County 124 crossed over the centre line and struck a westbound vehicle being operated by a 22 year old male driver. The driver of the eastbound vehicle sustained minor injuries. The driver of the westbound vehicle was transported by land ambulance to a local hospital then transported by air ambulance to St Michael’s hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The Ministry of Environment and Fortress Emergency Services attended the scene to clean up vehicle fluids.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
