(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the break, enter and theft that occurred at the Manilla General Store.
On December 1, 2014 officers responded to a call received from a resident advising that the alarm for the store was sounding and that it appeared that someone was in the building. Upon arrival on scene officers observed a window that had been broken. Initial investigation indicates that cigarettes and cash were stolen.
A Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) attended the location to assist with the investigation.
