(Pembroke, ON) – On Thursday, November 27, 2014, Commissioner Hawkes was on hand to introduce three Ontario Provincial Police members who receive Ontario’s top honours for bravery.
The Ontario Medal for Police Bravery is the province’s highest honour in recognition of police officers whose actions demonstrate outstanding courage.
OPP recipients of the 2014 Ontario Medal for Police Bravery are:
Sergeant Hubert Beauclair (Upsala Detachment)
Provincial Constable Doug Golding (Shabaqua Detachment)
Sergeant Patrick Smith (Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment)
