On November 29, at approximately 12:26 pm, officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer unit on Highway 102 near Hill Road.
The driver of a tractor trailer unit was west bound on Highway 102 when the driver lost control of the vehicle, entered the east bound ditch and rolled over into a creek. The two occupants were able to exit the cab before the cab became totally submerged under water.
The two occupants of the vehicle were not injured but were soaking wet as they exited the cab. They were unable to retrieve any clothing or belongings as all items were submerged within the cab.
The Canadian Red Cross attended and provided immediate assistance to both occupants.
