(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On December 2, 2014, just before 9:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 40 and Park Avenue.
The collision occurred when a northbound Chrysler van on Highway 40, was in the process of turning westbound onto Park Avenue. As the van was making its turn, it was struck by a southbound Ford Focus.
The driver of the van, a 17 year old female from Chatham, has been charged with Turn Not In Safety, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage.
No injuries were reported.
