On November 26, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P responded to a traffic complaint on Wellington Street in the Village of Madoc regarding a possible impaired driver. The vehicle and driver were located and it was determined the driver had been consuming alcohol. The 63 year old man of Eldorado, ON was issued a 3-day drivers licence suspension and his vehicle was towed.
By calling 9-1-1 and reporting suspected impaired drivers to police, the public can play a role in keeping our roads and waterways safe and in reducing impaired driving crashes, deaths and injuries.
